Originally constructed by Pepsi for beverage production in 1981, Kroger purchased the Bluefield Beverage facility in Bluefield, VA in 1982 and has been manufacturing carbonated and non-carbonated soft drinks, spring water, sparkling flavored water and purified water for Kroger stores around the country.Kroger plants are known as state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and are recognized and respected in the manufacturing industry for high standards.

• 202 Beverage Can Line, fully rebuilt in 2007 with Bevcorp 72-Valve filler and Angelus 120L seamer, with undercover gassing for CO2 or nitrogen
• PET Bottle Filler with Bevcorp 45-Valve mono block filler, with AROL 10-Head 28 & 38mm screw capper, and Fogg elevating hopper loader

• Ambec 10� x 30� accumulating table, with all stainless frame conveyor & case conveyor to palletizing station
• Videojet & Lastec laser coders, Assorted Videojet & Jaime ink jet coders, plus Marsh & Video Jet case coding equipment Stainless Tanks, Pumps & CIP System
• Feldmeier, Mueller & DCI storage tanks, 1000 to 10,000 gallons,
• (2) 10,000 Gallon 316L heavy gauge wall vertical syrup storage tanks
• (6) Cherry-Burrell 6,000 blending & dome top processing tanks; also 400 & 500 gallon vertical blend & mix tanks
