ABOUT
Well maintained processing plant for liquid and powered soy milk.
All equipment installed new in 1998, featuring Stork MVR evaporator, spray drying system by Steinmuller of South Africa, Siebtechnik decanter centrifuges, Fryma mills and dewatering systems, plus wide assortment of all stainless blending and bulk storage tanks.
FACTORY HIGHLIGHTS IN ORDER OF PRODUCTION
Soya Bean Intake and Bulk Storage
Road intake dump system, sizing and cleaning bldg with Westrup shaker and destoner screens and cyclone collectors, 4-unit bulk silo storage system with elevators and transfer conveyors
Soya Bean Soaking Platform
Fabricated steel structure complete with (10) 12,500 litre stainless jacketed soaking tank, plus full compliment of plate heat exchangers, centrifugal pumps, automated valve pipe work and controls
Chilled & Recirculating Water Systems
(2) Tank groups consisting of 90,000 litre jacketed chilled water holding tanks, and 25,000 litre jacketed stored circulating water vessels, both groups complete with heat exchangers, pumps, flow metering and automated pipework
Dewatering, Milling & Blanching Area
Featuring (4) Fryma 60kw disc mills, Autrex stainless rotary dewatering screen, Steinmuller fully enclosed fine screens, 3000 & 5000 litre process blend tanks, 5-pass all stainless tube blancher, plus complete network of pumps and pipe work.
Separating & Concentrate Blending Group
Siebtechnik type DZ4L and DZ6L solid bowl decanter centrifuges, stainless jacketed blending tanks from 5000 to 15,000 litre, Steinmuller deareator system with plate pasteurizing system, plus pumps, flow meters and pipe work.
MVR Evaporator System
Complete MVR evaporator plant with Stork / ABB high pressure MVR fan with 160kw drive, evaporation column, separator vessel, associated centrifugal and vacuum pumps, plus ingredient integration system with 2400 litre blend tanks
Spray Drying Facility
All stainless cone drying installation complete with disintegrator mill, cyclone collectors, dried product collection system, bag filling station, independent CIP system, as well as support structure and building
Pasteurizing & Finished Soy Milk Storage
Sondex HTST pasteurizing system, APV Gaulin MC45 homogenizer, (6) 120,000 litre double wall milk storage silo tanks, liquid infeed and discharge pipework skids with pumps and automated valves
